Goytre Wharf is situated a few miles from the centre of Goytre. It is well known throughout the area as a place if interest whether you like the water, boats, woods, walking or cycling, it is all here.
There are acres of woodland for you to walk through following well marked routes, and the views are not to be missed.
There are many canal boats here you can look around them and even buy one, if any are for sale, or you can hire them from REDLINE BOATS.
The canal is a great place to walk and cycle the path is in brilliant condition as it has just been replaced and repaired.
There is also a museum dedicated to the iron factory that used to be situated here, Goetre was a local canal port for the iron and steel industry.
After a long day why not go for a sandwich or a cup of tea in the Wharfs own cafe, with inside and outside seating.
