Election for Community Councillor in Goytre Ward

If you wish to stand, nomination papers may be obtained from the Returning Officer either at the offices of the Council, or online at www.monmouthshire.gov.uk
Alternatively, they can contact the Clerk to the Council by email at: theclerk@goytre.gov.uk
Nominations close at 4pm on the 11th July 2025. At that point the Returning Officer will know whether an election will take place or not depending on the number of candidates that have submitted nomination papers. Should only one person submit a nomination paper then they will automatically be elected without an election. Should two or more nominations be submitted, then an election will be on the 7th August.
